I have been working at Medical Home Team full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The model is great in the fact that the seniors I care for were not getting the comprehensive care they needed and that was causing them to be in and out of the hospital which was hard on them and many were close to dying.... Now my patients don't leave their home in an ambulance to a hospital or their family members don't have to take them to the hospital because they are worried about how they are feeling. Many tell...

    Cons

I have been paid late but I knew it and I understand that new start up companies struggle at times. I have been an NP for many years and no one is doing what Medical Home Team is trying to do. So there are going to be bumps in the road figuring it out. The biggest con I have is all the bad people they have hired. I have never seen more vindictive and self-serving people in my life! Please get on with your life....you...

    Advice to Management

Don't give up.... I love what I do. Now that you have made huge changes in the employees and the culture of the company. Let the new people that know what they are doing do there jobs and don't get ahead of yourselves. Grow slowly.

    Medical Home Team Response

March 21, 2017Director of Marketing & Public Relations

Thank you for your reason and response and balanced review. We do not ever want to consider our employees “bad people,” as you say because we do believe in the people we employ. However, we do believe that in times of struggle a person’s character is tested and revealed. Many of the ...

I worked at Medical Home Team full-time

      Pros

None at all. No pros working here.

      Cons

Horrible, horrible, horrible place to work. They can not afford to pay people. They treat you like crap, management/ owner is not people person does not know how to talk to employees. Also a few comments made have me to believe they're races. A revolving door at this place because they literally don't know what they're doing trying to get so many patients in but not enough workers to handle the load. Shows favoritism...

      Advice to Management

Get some people skills and learn how to talk to people. Stop looking down on employees because you barely have the money to pay them.

I worked at Medical Home Team full-time for more than a year

        Pros

I'm completely seperayed from the company.

        Cons

Total Care 2 U - is the same company. Medical Home Team changed their name to - Total Care 2 U - Same unethical corporate structure and employees. They will lie and rob you blind!! They will mislead physicians - uneducating them in a world of business they are not trained in and rob them blind!!!

        Advice to Management

Quit and seek professional help. You need Christian ethical guidance on how to treat employees.

I have been working at Medical Home Team full-time for more than 3 years

        Pros

I really cannot think of anything pro about defrauding Medicare with false billing - sure older people get attention in their homes / maybe that is a plus but it is taking space and funds from honest company

        Cons

Care 2U is Medical Home Team - Same marketing person who knowingly ripped off doctors to tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars and the taxpayer is now one of owners of Care 2 U

        Advice to Management

Hope they put you all in jail

          Pros

          Cons

Not a lot of consistent information and the turn over was very high.

I worked at Medical Home Team full-time for more than a year

          Pros

Great idea and concept of care.

          Cons

Top heavy with poor billing and management. Started paying us late in June 2016. Went belly up for Grand Rapids, Michigan on 1/2/17. They still owe me money. Very dishonest and poor management of a great idea. Lost many great Nurse Practitioner's due to poor management and billing. Client's loved program and definitely cost effective and the future of care for the geriatric community. My clients loved the service...

          Pros

Its closed and most are facing serious legal issues... I'm just waiting for the Civil part to be over with so we can get to Federal and see how some look in Orange and we got a pool going on which one in Sales will squawk first to get reduced culpability. Oh and those of you...lol I won't mention names, but re-branding and starting another LLC trying to improve upon the model..lol please please hurry and drop that...

          Cons

This company preyed upon the doctors at the expense of the exploitation of the elder and chronically ill. You were never successful, you relied on sales of an unproven and broken model... Your "turn key" program...lol good luck explaining that to a judge.

          Advice to Management

Forgo the lawyers and legal representation, most of you can't afford it as there's no E&O insurance in place, and unfortunately this isn't a federal case; yet, and there's no court appointed attorney for you. Enjoy what spoils you have now, as your lives are going to get very uncomfortable and incredibly difficult. 14 Doctors filed suit on 04/17/2017 in Collin County... lol some of which have MAJOR culpability...

          April 27, 2017CEO

Medical Home Team unfortunately had to close its doors. Unlike what you have read on this site.... Medical Home Team had to declare bankruptcy....meaning it did not have any more money to keep the doors open....so this whole notion that Medical Home Team was running a ponzi scheme ...

          Pros

Great practice model for Seniors, everyone working as a team now

          Cons

financial struggles, but improving now that they got rid of employees in the field that were not productive and corporate staff who were less than reputable poisoning everyone. Chip on their shoulders could barely put in a day's work. The big click / gossiping group of people!! A comradery of non professionals.

          Advice to Management

Making progress, communication is great and improved - Hold employees accountable as oppose to being held hostage by former employees
