    Pros

Mediware treats their interns and employees very well - monthly birthday treats, free soft drinks, swag bags, an annual trip to a Royals' game, and more. HR is very welcoming and hosted welcoming/exiting parties for interns and lots of fun activities to create camaraderie. During my internship, I was assigned a mentor who was very helpful and patient as I learned the ropes. Sad to say goodbye to my department and everyone. Good place to intern or to get hired.

    Cons

Can't think of anything bad to say!

    Pros

SQA intern experience was fulfilling, involved a progressive learning curve and valid work experience.
The program involved everything starting from the very basic concept of software quality analysis to complicated automation scripts on real world products.
    I love the casual environment
Interaction between users of all level
    Everyone is accessible
    Family centric, family-friendly
    Gym discount
    Unlimited coffee
I work with a fun team and there is always some fun event going on - Red Friday, Royals game tickets, chili contest, potlucks, birthday celebrations, breakfast with CEO

    Cons

With all the fun at work, workout should be compulsory, Foosball table also sounds good.

I have been working at Mediware full-time

    Pros

The people are great. Everyone gets along well and is generally willing to help each other. The company tries to keep employees informed about the state of the company with regular company wide meetings and quarterly division meetings. Technology is adequate.

    Cons

Running by the seat of our pants. Change process management is almost non-existent, constantly putting out fires, manpower resource allocation is not good leaving customers dissatisfied with responsiveness. Training opportunities are non-existent. The division I work in was acquired and the assimilation process has been very shaky.

    Advice to Management

Employees are so busy just trying to keep up they don't have much time to look for other opportunities in the company. Managers are understandable reluctant to give up head count, yet that makes it a dead end place to work for many. Take the initiative to recognize when an employee may be ready for another challenge and encourage that growth rather than trying to maintain the status quo

    4. in the past i used stay with a company for almost 4-5 years but here i could stay for hardly 3 months and resigned.
I do have few more but thought i would not want waste my time and brain by thinking about that.

    Pros

I enjoy my work and dealing with customers. My company is fully supportive. I work with a great team. Great manager.

    Cons

So much downsizing that it makes you worry who might be next. Would like opportunity to work from home...at least part time.
