I have been working at Medpace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great initial training. Competitive salary. Bonus scheme. Private health care package. Lovely people. Potential for career progression. You get to work with all departments and learn various aspects of trial management.

    Cons

Cincinnati have final say over everything so local offices don't have much control over big and small matters. I.e. they decide who sits where, approve employment of every single person from intern to director. Most studies lead from US so EU project coordinators don't get much of a chance to act in lead roles and learn more about Medpace processes/studies. Although promotions are common, the rise in pay is minimal. Project coordinators expected to be "junior CTM's" but are not allowed to be promoted to CTM from PC (expected to also have experience in CRA role).

    Advice to Management

Let local offices have more control over employment, promotions, etc. Allow more experienced PCs the chance to be promoted to CTM on a case by case basis. Allow the OUS offices to have more lead CTM and PC roles.
