    I worked at Medpace full-time

    Pros

Decent benefits, generous PTO, free onsite gym, dress code is casual.

    Cons

The management is absolutely terrible. They do not listen to employees and the communication is never clear. The training is an absolute joke.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and show some appreciation for them. When employees feel valued, they will stay with the company. Actively seek out ways to improve the department from the people who actually perform the job everyday.

    I worked at Medpace full-time

    Pros

    Friendly people.
    Flexible hours
40 hours sick hours to use
    a few floating holidays
great place to gain experience right out of college if you want to pursue a career in clinical research

    Cons

Boss is usually hard to get in contact with. Usually out of the office for a couple hours.
    Low pay!
If you leave, you end up paying for PTO.!!!
Make too many promises and don't follow through.
I did not give 30 day notice. I gave the regular 2 weeks. I had to call HR asking where my last check was. They said I didn't get paid anything because I didn't give my 30 day notice and had to pay for my PTO. I asked them an amount and I didn't get a response. They informed me they took the amount out of my 401K contributions! HR informed me that my supervisor and exit interview rep should have told me the amount I owed the company . Neither person informed me! This company screwed me and many other people over. The turnaround is very very very high. not many people stay more than 1 year. They pay their employees very low and will not increase wages. At each town hall meeting, the salary always comes up and they continue to tell everyone they can't do anything about it. Instead, they'd rather waste their money on getting the building renovated. Getting cool office supplies and planning paint nights in the office and getting a large variety of drinks and snacks. We don't need all that crap, and the company wastes their money on things.

I have been working at Medpace (More than a year)

    Pros

    Cons

Manger oversight, low salary, difficult and lack of access to help during training, backlog for training trips.

    Advice to Management

Put some effort into your CRAs before you decide they are worthless

I have been working at Medpace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work life balance is great. Work is fairly easy

    Cons

Pay is way under midpoint. Tech stack is very dated. Managerial staff have little desire to actually propel the company forward from a tech stand point (though they talk about it al). Most long term employees are stagnant and okay with just doing what they are supposed to. Not a good place for mentors or people who want to advance their skill set

    Advice to Management

Value your IT/Development staff more. Take a closer look at managers and CTO to see if they are actually are moving (or trying to move) the company forward.

    Somewhat of a flexible schedule

    Cons

Lunch offered is getting worse, no room to grow as it is discouraged, horrible pay and benefits.

    Advice to Management

Value the hard workers and compensate fairly.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Flexibility, Equipment, Great Doctors, Regulated Scheduling

    Cons

Nepotism, Inconsistent Rules and Regulations, No appreciation for good employees

    Advice to Management

Stop being such a revolving door, and actually put something into the good employees you have. Build a team rather than having a constant threat of being fired.

    Pros

They have good training resources which are good for beginners. Free salad lunch and free gym are also plus.

    Cons

Politics is everywhere. Performance is more like a politic matter. No transparency there. You never know what could happen if you don't spend time on pleasing your boss.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent to your employees in terms of promotion criteria and termination criteria. Be more diverse, more open-minded.

I worked at Medpace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Hire at entry level
    -Good PTO
    -Free lunches
    -Friendly colleagues/managers

Overall it's a solid opportunity to get your foot in the door in clinical research.

    Cons

Unfortunately, the compensation offered is simply not competitive. Given the expectations of the position, I could not justify staying there at a salary so far below the market rate.

    Advice to Management

Focus on retaining employees. Short term cost savings in the form of lower salaries can lead to higher costs in the long run due to high turnover.

I have been working at Medpace full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Free lunch. Will hire you with zero experience. High gender equality. Nice and smart co-workers.

    Cons

    Hire people with zero experience.
Lots of responsibility at low pay.
    Minimal growth opportunity.
Not enough parking for all employees.
Just got rid of sick time off.
Non-competition agreements for entry level and hourly employees is unethical and a way to keep wages low.

    Advice to Management

Create growth plans to keep top ranked employees in the company instead of seeking outside positions to grow in their careers.
