I worked at Medulla full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My team was phenomenal and the only reason I stuck it out for more than 6 months.

    Cons

Where to begin - C-suite makes mid to high 6 figures and has the rest of the employees eating crumbs. P3 is their company mantra. Performance, People and Patients. People are the last thing they think about. The company has essentially been run the same way for several years. Employees are worked tirelessly, receive meager pay and the benefits are a mockery. No 401k match, expensive benefits, little vacation time, and their idea of investing in their employees is a psychotic cult-like weekend seminar that employees pay for and have to take vacation time for.

I've been with several companies and this is the first time I felt that a company was designed to revive indentured servitude. Just because a majority of your employees don't have more than a high school education that doesn't give leadership the right to treat them as unskilled labor.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the parasitic leaches of the company and employ outsiders. Too much inbreeding within leadership has cultivated a bizarro company that's divorced from what most high functioning companies are doing. Quit hearkening back to the 18th century. Society has changed since then. We even got cotton mills, automobiles, and vaccines these days. Embrace the 21st century you might like it.

    Pros

    None. Seriously don't work here.

    Cons

The best advice I can give is to listen to other reviews. There are so many red flags about this company, LISTEN TO THEM! Do your research before accepting a position with this company.

I worked at Medulla full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Love the patients and free chiropractic care.

    Cons

HR does not have a way of being more visually involved in the behind the scenes antics in the clinics.

    Advice to Management

More of a direct role in the clinics.

Absolutely no work life balance; work every single weekend. One day off during the week only, and usually M-W.

I have been working at Medulla full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay is pretty good for not requiring an undergraduate degree. You get 3 day weekends. You have the opportunity to obtain a limited radiography license which includes a raise. The clinic you work in has the opportunity to bonus depending on performance.

    Cons

Although the 3 day weekends are great, you do not have time to do anything from Monday through Thursday. With the split shift hours the job consumes almost the entire day. The clinic that you work in has to perform well and hit certain numbers in order to bonus. The people in authority positions are not trained well in management. Therefore, majority of the time the employees are treated poorly. Even though the slogan for the company is to help every person to reach their full potential it seems as though that is excluding the staff.

    Advice to Management

I think there should be more emphasis on management for the DC's and care managers. In the clinic that I work in it is a constant power struggle between the doctor and care manager, and the doctor is not very professional.

I have been working at Medulla full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The diversity of my screenings at various locations. The constant meeting of new people.

    Cons

The company is working towards changing our workweek from 6 days to 5 days.

    Advice to Management

Change the days out screening while slightly lowering our metrics. It will be a win/win because we will attract more qualified applicants.
