    Pros

    Meltwater breeds successful sales people. The office culture creates an enjoyable work environment that makes you excited to go to work everyday.

    Cons

    Competitive sales metrics. Need to have drive to go above and beyond quotas.

    Pros

    Opportunity. There is no other job out of college where you will get this much opportunity for promotion and compensation.

    Cons

    Hard work. It can be hard to stay motivated with the challenges but it is a good life lesson if you can.

    only hire people who are willing to put in the work.

    Pros

    The people you work with will become some of your best friends - you will also learn extremely valuable sales, conversation, business and other professional skills. Also competitive and makes you want to constantly keep improving yourself at work.

    Cons

    Can be extremely stressful due to monthly quotas - also work/life balance is difficult. You will be spending a lot of time at the office and also extracurricular activities with your coworkers.

    Pros

    Meltwater is a great company to start your career as a recent college graduate. Each year, a new recruiting class comes in with energy and hunger for success. Even if you are not necessarily straight out of college, anyone in their twenties would love working at Meltwater. One of the best aspects of Meltwater is its cultural identity as well. If you are a driven and articulate individual, quick learner, confident and social, you will certainly succeed at Meltwater.

    Cons

    Dress code could be more professional but for some people, a relaxed dress code is a pro.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to acquire other companies in our space as we grow.

    Pros

    Learn business by doing business- its a great way to get some real life experience right out of school. Good pay and great compensation for hitting and going over targets. Fun start up atmosphere with a great corporate structure that provides quick career growth.

    Cons

    Hard work and long hours. Its a sales role at the end of the day so the more effort you put in the more you get out.

    - Lots of employees are looking for a new job or interviewing elsewhere

    - Pay higher salary
    - Invest in your managers rather than force them into the position
    - Auto renewing clients is unprofessional and a terrible business practice for the company image

    Pros

    -Great experience for those who want to break into tech and/or sales
    -A lot of room for quick advancement and promotion
    -Great opportunity to learn full sales cycle
    -Great work outings and happy hours...and did I mention the FOOD in the fully stocked kitchen!

    Cons

    -You will not be earning uncapped commission, but if you express your desire to, management WILL give you a chance
    -What you put in is what you get out of it...be prepared to WORK

    Pros

    -you learn a ton in your first 3-6mos, professionally and personally
    -plenty of opp to step up and deliver results
    -opp for growth is high if you perform well and "drink the cool aid"
    -good mgmt if you're lucky
    -young, fun culture

    Cons

    -leadership has little to no accountability (and it shows) and are not particularly approachable
    -constantly changing infrastructure, goals and methodology (for a 1000+ employee co)
    -comp is not competitive with like-companies and for similar roles in the market
    -market segment is crowded and pricing strategy makes the product a race to the bottom
    -no clear path to market differentiation can make employees feel stagnant
    -micromgmt can be an issue depending on your team
    -little to no work life flexibility

    Advice to Management

    Keep the integrity of the business at the forefront. Build good quality business rather than focusing solely on quantity. Listen to your employees and reward them for their respective work. Trust your employees to get their work done without micromanaging.
