    Pros

    Some nice folks there
    Pay was ok

    Cons

    Small office with groups that aren't open to welcoming newcomers.
    "Manger" over me was not a people-person at all, no management skills - very self-centered and not open to share any of her knowledge.
    "Manager" had gripes with other C-level folks and made it clear to all - very uncomfortable in such a small company. She has since left the company but that was after firing me.

    Advice to Management

    managers need to learn how to on-board employees and share knowledge

    I worked at Member Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Relaxed dress code and very reasonable hours. Only required to work one late/night shift. No experience required, and a fun staff to work with.

    Cons

    Very rapid pace and slightly challenging software platform at first. Often have to deal with very difficult and angry customers who don't want to pay or continue their contract.

    Advice to Management

    A better training program would go a long way for productivity and efficiency.

    Pros

    - you get your own roomy cubicle
    - there's a gym ($10/month & cafe (over-priced) in the office space
    - the manager and the two supervisors are "cool" ... 2 out of 3 are great all of the time
    - the people that work there are pretty okay
    - room to grow from within --- we get weekly emails of ALL the openings within the company and how to apply
    - the manager is really easy to talk to
    - BENEFITS & PTO!

    Cons

    - it can get a little loud and a bit hectic
    - not enough close parking available unless you get there early
    - breaks feel like they last 5 mins
    - we have software that sucks but our team has been trying very hard to make it easier to use
    - customers/clients do get upset and feel like it is YOUR fault even though it's not
    - it's really hard not to let at least one call get to you especially if you normally don't get them
    - people come and go which sucks a little bt

    Advice to Management

    Please remember that we are human. We are not robots.

    I worked at Member Solutions full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Office with 50+ people , not a single window (yes). The IT team is about 10 people, mostly Russians . almost none of them have been here more than a year, because of the rapid turnover. The IT manager's (Gary) vocabulary consists of "Who is on the radar?!" , "The ship is sinking" , "Stay on board" ... Basically his job is to cover his own incompetence by blaming on everything else. The other manager, the only person that knows what is going on there has his own agenda: to secure his job by writing bad performance reviews when you start getting familiar with the system. The company is owned by a Canadian holding and they have no plans to improve anything, only to squeeze as much as possible. After all this is a collection agency.

    Cons

    People get fired with no warning for weird reason. Even if you accept a job here, don't stop looking. Be proactive

    Advice to Management

    1. The management should realize that you will be on this earth only X number of years and the best you have made of it is to work for a collection agency.
    2. The money you spend on online PR is a waste.

    Pros

    The company truly cares about their employees on a personal level. Where else do you have access to the COO or CEO? Everyone works hard. If you don't have a good work ethic, this place isn't for you.

    Cons

    Because it's a small company, opportunities to advance don't come every day. The good part is that when there is a new opportunity, the company tries to promote from within when possible.

    Keep caring!

    Pros

    Great co workers, some become almost family ! Been here and will stay until I get "kicked out".

    Cons

    Being in the customer and client services brings out both the best and worst in people depending on your customer or client.

    Your co-workers are family and great people to work with.

    Cons

    If your not related to the call center manager or attend his church you will get treated unfairly. Upper management do not care about your concerns.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees. There is a reason for the high turn over rate.
