Lack of promotional opportunities, high turnover given company size, company doesn't reward hard work only entrepreneurship (have to invent product or division to get ahead), company too spread out with different products (can only do all thing mediocre but not a few things great), company rewards revenue generation more than other roles, difficult to review colleagues, lack of defined roles leading to confusion as to who owns projects, growth opportunities subpar compared to other companies, some people have more say than others - more weight given to some people's opinions than others
Advice to Management
Offer 360 review process so employees can have some say, recognize different workstyles and reward accordingly, don't focus only on revenue generating departments, define roles better and do not abuse or allow others to infringe on others' projects, focus on doing one thing well not 20 things mediocre
The pay is alright and they recognize you when you do well as long as being a spammer doesn't bother you.
This company tries hard to deny the fact that they are a spam traffickers. Sure they give out some of the prizes they offer but if you give them your information they will sell it to anyone that will pay. That air of denial makes for interesting morale problems. Their are few that are happy to show up to work and those that are tend to be interested in only themselves. You are not encouraged to tell the truth because it will poke holes in the flimsy vale that keeps the air of legitimacy alive. The communication from senior leadership is a joke and is full of euphemisms for what the company really does. If you value your integrity find an other company to work for because this company isn't about to change anytime soon.
Advice to Management
Stop lying to your employee's and yourself and admit to being a personal information pimp. If you're honest about what you do then your employees will be able to decide for themselves on how to justify working for you.
