      Pros

Memorial has a great reputation within the healthcare system for South Florida. Their utilization of current technology and best medical practices helps them remain in the upper ranks amongst their competitors.

      Cons

For unknown reasons there is too much internal politics that occur and unfair, biased relationships that hinder others who are not apart of the ‘clique’ from experiencing true growth.

      Overrated hospital that underpay's employees

      Pros

      - 1 on 1 PT to patient care for 45 minute sessions. - They try to give you less than 2 evals a day. (which is still a lot to document especially when they're mixed in with progress reports and plan of cares) - Management and employees are genuinely nice (but they still have to answer to people outside of patient care who's main concern is increasing profit in their pockets not yours even though you're the one working the hardest trying to meet their demands and expectations) -They mandate the flu vaccine and I will not be surprised when they try to mandate the covid vaccine. You should no be required to provide a medical exemption or religious exemption to have a voice about what goes into you're own body. This just proves that they're the same as everyone else who have their own ties with politics and pharmaceutical companies. They say it's to keep the patients safe but that's marketing and a social guilt tactic.

      Cons

      - Poor compensation. (Below average) -No documentation time you're expected to document while treating the patient. (If you're a practicing therapist you know how unrealistic this is when you're trying to provide quality pt care. They use EPIC and its a monster at consuming all your documentation time. -It's all about productivity and $$$. It's only the illusion of patient care and employee satisfaction. - Clinical ladder = small pay raise for more work when your schedule is already jammed - Will cut your hours and mess with your schedule to boost their productivity - Poor patient follow through with same therapist. They end up on 5 different PT schedules due to lack of availability on your schedule however your schedule is full of patients you have never seen before. Doesn't make sense. - They say the benefits are great here but I don't see they're value. - A lot of shuffling around paperwork and hurdles to jump through as management one being pt satisfaction surveys that we depend upon to get a small bonus at the end of the year. -Styrofoam everything. Need to be more environmentally friendly.
