I have been working at Memorial Hermann Health System full-time

    Pros

Even with current economic downturn Memorial Hermann has been abele to provide a stable work environment. Low turnover rate. Plenty of opportunities and tools for continued education.

    Cons

Lots of separation of departments causing disjointed knowledge of what which teams are responsible for.

    Advice to Management

Provide more knowledge and road maps to team members about interdepartmental responsibilities. Create more opportunities for different departments to collaborate and work together.

    Pros

Good team work despite endless departmental short comings. Staff always look out for each other. Parking is free. Close location if you live in the suburbs.

    Cons

Low pay. Inconsistent hours. Horrific management at sugarland hospital location. Director throws ppls belongings away;always looking for a reason to write someone up. CONSTANT turnover for >3 years consistently. 10 ppl quit in 1 yr. director is shady, uncaring & biased. Pray for these poor workers that God delivers them from this unit.

    Advice to Management

Simply Just care. Listen , don't just hear and ignore your staff. Everyone is miserable and looking for other jobs or praying for retirement . But I'm sure y'all still don't care.......
