I worked at Memphis Grizzlies full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, great team and team environment.
Pace of work is very quick during the season, very relaxed in the offseason.

    Cons

Low pay, frustrating HR department makes this not a very good long term job. No interaction with team unless you work in the basketball operations.

    Advice to Management

Create a review system or a method for feedback. HR department needs to be reviewed. Create a day for employees to get to know players.

I worked at Memphis Grizzlies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Free Season tickets
Get to meet many interesting fans

    Cons

    Low pay
No structure. Day to day operations are however mgmt feels that day.
Sports/Athletics business but no fun or fitness opportunities
You never get to sit in your free season ticket seats if you work in the sales department.
Managers and directors with no leadership skills at all...just there because they've been around for a while.
No growth opportunities..rarely promote from within
    Outdated technology
    Disconnect between departments

    Advice to Management

Stop padding your pockets illegally and think about your staff. How would you feel in their shoes?
