    Pros

    Competitive pay and good benefits. Advancement opportunities are available. We attempt to make every effort to please the customer. The primary goal is a reliable power system.

    Cons

    Some hiring decisions are questionable. There needs to be more efficiency in filling vacant positions. Some departments are severely understaffed.

    Advice to Management

    Improve top down communications. Improve interdepartmental communications. Get staffing back up to effective levels. Keep job postings up until a position is filled.

    Low pressure, good coworkers, a lot of knowledgeable people available for support.

    Great benefits to go with average pay.

    Cons

    Have to deal with government rules and regulations.

    Lot of bureaucracy to deal with. Approval sometimes required by both board and city council.

    Little to no raises in last several years.
