I have been working at Memry Corporation full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Has good health care, good vacation time.

    Cons

Upper management seems to have no game plan for future, can only focus on one project at a time. HR doesn't follow company handbook, makes policy when seems fit for them.

    Advice to Management

If you want memry to succeed, then I would replace Managers with personal that have experience in other successful companies. The current management lives in a memry bubble, and believes that it's current course is the only one, which it isn't.

I worked at Memry Corporation full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Memery was a creative and energetic environment. This a great place to develop or test your technical background. There were many smart people in this small company.

    Cons

A small fish in a big pond

    Advice to Management

Spend more time listening to the people that get the work done, and less time on the leaders you appoint. The leaders you appoint will tell you exactly what you want to hear.

    Pros

Good place to work for couple of years and plan for retirement. Easy to get entry level Nitinol experience; Memry is famous for training workforce on Nitinol and catering their employees to more established Nitinol manufacturers.

    Cons

Company not interested in employees career growth. company will be happy to limit the employees growth to pay less salary for years together. Comprises of laid back workforce except for < 5% employees.

    Advice to Management

Retain the knowledge bank; Focus on Engineering, not on sales. Senior management has to realize that the company's engineering know-how is very low compared to all of the competition

I worked at Memry Corporation as an intern

    Pros

I felt like part of the team, not just an intern. I was treated like an engineer and was expected to produce high quality work. The engineers are all friendly with each other, which made the working environment great. The company organizes a lot of events for the employees.

    Cons

There can be better communication between the different departments.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! I loved interning at Memry.

I worked at Memry Corporation (More than a year)

    Pros

Some of the best people I've ever worked with. Everyone was overly helpful and eager to do what they could to either teach you, or help you make the work environment better

    Cons

There are no real cons from my experience here except that there is no shortage of work. The company is growing faster than the current resource capacity. I have kept in contact with old employees, and they have been hiring to solve this issue.
