I have been working at Menasha Corporation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The coworkers are all friendly and a pleasure to work with. The benefits are great and decent compensation.

    Cons

You either fit the mold and ideology of those currently working or there is constant friction when bringing up fresh ideas and strategies. The company is going through major growing pains and can do really great if it can stop tripping on its own feet.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to ease up on how conservatively it pursues ideas and projects. So many opportunities are passed up because they don't interest a particular manager.

    Pros

Menasha is a great company to work for and they treat their employees really well. The leadership team is a great supporter of our wellness initiatives which is rare.

    Cons

Some managers are not cut out to be managers and that puts a strain on the whole team.

I worked at Menasha Corporation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Located close to my home. New facility that was clean and newer equipment.

    Cons

Employees are treated as disposable. When hiring four employees to do the same job each was offered a different wage that failed to reflect qualifications or experience. After five weeks of work the company failed to pay me. The company has total disregard for labour laws and despite more than 10 phone calls has failed to provide pay stubs for employment income. I refuse to waste any more time trying to force a corporation to conduct business with their employees at the bare minimum legal level. After I quit for the above reasons, I drove to Menasha's location to return their security card, safety vest and other company property and requested that my remaining pay and stubs be mailed to me. Twelve weeks later I am still calling and waiting. I would like to put this experience behind me but Menasha refuses to allow that.

    Advice to Management

Please ensure that your company follows the applicable minimum employment standards. Many companies pride themselves on their treatment of their employees. Menasha is a company that refuses to meet the minimum standard set by law. If this is an error than why not send me a copy of the requested pay-stub or return my phone calls?
