    Pros

    The pay and benefits are great.

    Cons

    Orientation is way too short.
    Nurse to patient ratio is way of out whack like all nursing homes to the point where it's dangerous.

    Advice to Management

    You need 2 nurses per unit, med pass on the overnight shift can take 2 to 3 hours, everyone's half asleep.

    Terrible Management, no organization or consistency, lack of staff

    Treat employees better and with respect so retention rate can improve

    Working here has been a very positive experience, the staff are concerned with residents needs and the facility is well kept.

    Cons

    As with any healthcare facility the work can be stressful and very busy.

    Parking is not adequate for number of staff and visitors

    Need to spend some of the dollars on improving air conditioning and parking.

    Very organized. Free food for 3rd shift.

    Cons

    Feels like you're walking on eggshells. You can get fired for any reason. Supervisors treat you like a child. You lose your dignity at this place.

    Great pay, raises twice yearly
    Great starting pay
    Clean facility
    Rules enforced and follow-up provided

    Bullying
    No schedule flexibility
    Vacation time is barely approved
    A lot of reprimanding
    Upper management is overly strict

    Allow flexibility in scheduling days off
