I have been working at Mental Health Association of Nassau County part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly, hard working, dedicated to a wonderful cause, working along side fellow peers, good hearted people trying to help those less privileged than themselves.

    Cons

Not enough hours and I'm volunteering and not receiving any pay from work.

    Advice to Management

Allow me freedom and I soar to new heights in my dedication to further advancing the goals of those I serve, staff and clientele.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Mental Health Association of Nassau County full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The mission to help the mentally disabled is a great one. The front line employees seem to care and do a great job.

    Cons

The clients are not happy; The employees are not happy. The waste of money is immense and you see it when you walk in the door.

    Advice to Management

Invest the money in the company and not in your ability to "manage" the money. Raises, company cars, custum offices, million dollar homes for children of the board and on and on...
