    I worked at Meralco (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great company, have much more opportunities especially for Engineering students, have fun with the employee, You can learn a lot of stuff about network and electronics. Weekly safety precautions. Safety is their priority.

    Cons

    No allowances for interns and they are not allowed to use the gym.

    I worked at Meralco (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Good health benefits.
    - Nice people

    Cons

    - Sub-par salary for a prestigious company.
    - Monday to Saturday. Only 1 day off. No holidays.
    - Incompetent bosses. Promoted only by association.
    - No training for growth.
    - Compartmentalized job roles. No growth in knowledge.
    - Good for 2-3 years experience. After that, ditch this company.

    Advice to Management

    - Increase compensation to technical staff like CPAs and Engineers

    I worked at Meralco (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good benefits. Friendly supervisors and co-workers. Many free foods. Nice environment

    Cons

    12+ hours work day. Especially in province. They are requiring their employee to work 12 hours a day and additional hours during Saturdays. Too many work loads given to one person. Promotions is not clear even if work there for 10 years!

    Advice to Management

    Love your employees. Love electricity. Hire more people other than your family members and friends. Please say no to corruption

    A great and goal oriented company that supports your technical and career growth. Keeps employees motivated by providing learning and financial stability.

    * Good health benefits which are extended even to qualified dependents
    * Gym access
    * Shuttle service within the HQ and to several locations outside
    * Recreational events for employees
    * Great exposure to the electric power industry

    Cons

    * A tech company which doesn't value tech workers much
    * Severe salary disparity due to longevity
    * Severe salary disparity between management and rank-and-file groups
    * Bundling training to acquisitions are preferred over budgeted training
