I worked at Mercadolibre full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great Perks (Free Fruits, Gym, Beverages, Food, Health insurance), Nice Offices. It's a dynamic company

    Cons

Lack of organization and coordination between areas. If you want to be promoted, you should only need a little of show-off, without working or being a team player. They don't have a mid/long term vision. CTO decides everything, and directors and managers don't argue him. A lot of political issues guide the decisions. It's not an innovative company.

    Advice to Management

You should have a long/mid term vision. You need to take more risks and if you want ti build a better culture, you should remove your CTO and most of IT Directors and Managers.

    Pros

Nice People and endless possibilities if you're on the right team.

    Cons

The company is really big, so you may have an excellent experience and learn a lot. That was not my case, I had to do a lot of extra hours, work was pretty boring, really disorganized.
