    I worked at Mercadolibre full-time

    Pros

Great culture, quickly-growing company where you can take on a lot of responsibility

    Cons

Payment in local currency is useful if you plan to stay in that country but not if you want to live elsewhere

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing, but don't be too political with promotions of top talent. Reward people with the roles they deserve, regardless of age or tenure.

I have been working at Mercadolibre full-time

    Pros

Lots of freedom to innovate. Free to bring new tools and ways to work to the environment.
A nice work culture in a huge and growing company.

    Cons

Too much bureaucracy. Everything is so distributed that makes the projects last longer than they should.

    Advice to Management

    More feedback.
More freedom of schedule. Work at home, more holidays and better perks at the office.

I worked at Mercadolibre full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great Perks (Free Fruits, Gym, Beverages, Food, Health insurance), Nice Offices. It's a dynamic company

    Cons

Lack of organization and coordination between areas. If you want to be promoted, you should only need a little of show-off, without working or being a team player. They don't have a mid/long term vision. CTO decides everything, and directors and managers don't argue him. A lot of political issues guide the decisions. It's not an innovative company.

    Advice to Management

You should have a long/mid term vision. You need to take more risks and if you want ti build a better culture, you should remove your CTO and most of IT Directors and Managers.
