I worked at Mercadolibre full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly environment and co-workers, lovely office with facilities. Kitchen with fresh fruit, vending machines and free water supply.

    Cons

Not the best salary although quite good in comparison with others. It was a little hard for everyone to reach some of the things they ask in your performance, they focus too much in productivity and let the customer's experience not be the number 1 priority(though they say it is), which affects you as an employee, and your salary.

    Advice to Management

My overall experience was good, I loved working there besides the downsides it could have sometimes. My suggestion though is that you keep working in hearing your employees at customer service a little bit more. Personally, with bonuses, I would always get less money than others because I actually focused on helping users and fixing everything. Which is great, everyone should do that, but they didn't; that causes other employees to do more work and sacrifice productivity and their salary in order to give a really good customer experience.

    Pros

Great place to work, great culture and benefits. People respect each other's opinion.

    Cons

Very few career opportunities, the company wants you to grow very slowly. You have to work years in a row to go up one position.

    Advice to Management

Great company but give more career opportunities to your employees. They deserve more chances and trust.

    Pros

    Team work.
    Culture.
    Horizontal structure.

    Cons

Not so easy to achieve a bonus. (I got it only once in 5 years, eventhough I had a great review)
It is an International company but with not so many opportunities to work abroad. People from Brasil stay in Brasi, from Argentina in Argentina and so on.
    Not so many capacitations.
    The salaries are average.
