    Pros

    To be successful, you have to call prospects (too often) and past buyers as well as sell to customers that come to the store. It works but if you have any hesitation to cold call, this isn't the right fit for you.

    Cons

    If sales are down from not enough traffic in the store, they fire someone to make management think they're doing something about it. There's a very high turnover rate in management and sales. There is no job security. Sales people come in on their day off to try to make more sales.
