    Pros

There are some nice people working there.

The owner sets unrealistic goals. She really has no idea how to run a dealership or motivate her employees.

I worked at Mercedes-Benz International full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The pay and benefits package of full time employees are top notch.

    Cons

Benefits package shrinking every year. They keep too many temporary workers for 2+ years without hiring them. They talk a wonderful talk but in the end you are just a number.

    Advice to Management

Treat your TM's more like you say you treat them.

I worked at Mercedes-Benz International full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

MB offers training that will benefit you and your customers. When you are selling the best commit to being the best and you can't lose.

    Cons

The only downside is if you don't want to commit to what it takes to be a top sales person. Give it ypur all and you will do fine.

    Advice to Management

It's MB they have it down pat. I don't think I have to tell them how to do it better.

I worked at Mercedes-Benz International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I can't think of any. The employees are a-holes, but that's understandable considering the demands on them compared to their compensation.

    Cons

As a Maintenace Technician Apprentice you will work for $18/hr for 18 months. Durning this time you will do the same work as the full time employees who make 25/hr. If you pass all of the tests at the end of the 18 months you will then make 25/hr and top out at 33.33/hr in 5 years.

    Advice to Management

Be up front about the pay scale during the 2 years of school and 18 months of training. Many of us were not aware of the pay until orientation week when we were told the pay was less than we expected. The application process is long and to be told you will be making peanuts for 3 1/2 years it is really demoralizing.
