    Pros

Great co-workers and work environment. Flexible schedule. Ability to work from home. Great training available. Broad access to different types of clients

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Work to create more opportunities for lower level employees. Work to improve technology. Need to create more defined upward mobility.

I worked at Mercer full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

All of my coworkers were top notch. Everyone worked hard and helped one another. I made many great friends. SalarY and benefits were just okay.

    Cons

Because of the frequent "restructures", there was always an impending doom feeling that you would lose your job during a re-org. There was an expectation that as a salaried employee you should work an unreasonable amount of hours each week. Family is certainly not a priority.

    Advice to Management

You have some many talented hard working individuals. Practice the work life balance you preach and don't abuse your responsible dedicated employees. Reward those who deserve it and when it is necessary to make cuts, drop the dead weight, not those that have made your company thrive.

I worked at Mercer full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Depending on your manager, you could have the luxury of working remote. If you are part of the Global Business, you might have some wonderful International travel opportunities. If you are a level F or above, potential for annual bonus is greater than >20%.

    Cons

Mercer has all this pride but I can speak for Talent Technology when saying they are either fooling themselves or all drinking from the same Kool-Aid because they aren't considered competition b any true HCM software companies. There is so much unfounded pretention rolling around the company its funny when you finally get away from the golden handcuffs. My suggestion would be for those just out of college to apply but if you are experienced, don't waist your time with this boiler room organization. I am speaking only to those HCM software folks. Consultants are probably used to this level of disfunction and won't notice a difference.

    Advice to Management

No hope or you all. Any new manager will realize the dysfunction and get out fast if they are marketable.
