    Pros

    friendly staff and good team, great advantages company as health care, interest of benefits...

    Cons

    some hotels are older and needed a renovation, the management (just for one of my general manager) need to review this method too old school practices.

    I worked at Mercure Hotels full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    The people I worked with got me through each day. They really were the most diverse, hard-working people I have ever worked with! Only for them I don't think I would have lasted as long as I did! I recently went back to the hotel I worked in and there was only one staff member still there from the year I was. And I can tell you it is because of the management!

    Cons

    There is so much room for opportunity, and growth. But the management here don't want to hear opinions. The owner of Mercure popped in once while I was there and we had to treat him like a king. Which I wouldn't mind, if he also had respect for those working for him. He was AWFUL. Clicking his fingers and shouting across the dining room. No wonder management are so bad when this is what they have to deal with!

    Advice to Management

    A suggestion box possibly? Even to have someone listen to what the staff think should change, even once a month! It's usually the floor staff who have the best ideas as they see what is going on day-to-day compared with the GM and manager who are sat in an office behind a desk pulling everyone's strings.

    Pros

    Working with good management and paying at the right time.Always providing trainings which are inproving our working skils.Comfertable accommodations and food is providing by the company.

    Cons

    Salaries is little low comparing to other institutions.

    Advice to Management

    Comparing to the country's economy need to care about the staff wages.

    Quite a good place to work could do with improving tho. All tho I did enjoy working there

    Pension that's about all ther cons there was its a basic pension

    Look after staff a lot better treat them like they work with you not for you

    Pros

    Taught me many very valuable hospitality skills. The team worked well together and was a motivating environment. Was quite easy, methodical work.

    Cons

    Working alone for quiet shift and handling room on own. Early hours on weekends. Lots of work/labour for medium pay.

    Pros

    Great people, lots of training. Pay is good considering I'm 18. I always have something to do.

    Cons

    Sometimes thrown in at the deep end and it can be quite tricky. Customers like to get very drunk around Christmas.

    Advice to Management

    Management are absolutely brilliant no complaints whatsoever. There really is not anything else to say.

    Its very famous hotel and all staff very experience person and good chains in world that's way I joining this hotel
