Management is unresponsive to needs/requests. Health insurance is expensive and has large out of pocket cost to employees.

Current manager is decent however administration is a revolving door and the administrators are lacking at best.
Cons
High turnover, lowest pay in the country, administration typically do not have clinical experience and therefore are out of touch with how the group functions, the staff and clinicians are often treated second rate

It’s one of the better hospitals in Missouri.
Cons
Nursing management at Mercy Hospital is top-down heavy and driven by “Catholic” politics although most management could care less about Catholic values and equality.

Took away add-ons for BSN, CCRN, SCRN, etc The med/surg floors are drowning with not enough staff nurses. Lots of travelers with no loyalty to Mercy or investment in our facility.
