I worked at Mercy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No overtime. Co-workers are very friendly

    Cons

less holidays than normal, poor pay, all they care about is the $, tons of turnover, glorified collections agent

    Advice to Management

If you are going to push collections as hard as you do, you either need to make a dedicated department to just estimate and prior balance collections or start offering your employees a piece of the MASSIVE pie with some sort of bonus structure for meeting certain collection goals. Make it worth their time, or else they will keep getting sick of it and feel underappreciated and continue to leave as frequently as they do.
