I have been working at Mercy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great healthcare reputation, the occupational distinctions are toned down with regard to interpersonal interactions between co-workers of separate department and positions.

    Cons

Corporate life is okay, could be a tad more accommodating and appreciative of employee contributions. HR, at least regarding dealing with underqualified or unmotivated staff, take a very long time to perform reviews and take prudent action to better the overall quality of Mercy's staff.

    Advice to Management

A better screening process, more consistent performance reviews, and raises that reflect the attitude and amount of dedication co-workers implement every day when they go into Mercy

    Pros

Good co-workers who care about the job they do.

Managers and supervisors are cold and lack the ability to recognize a good co-worker. The HR representative previously worked in the lab and has a conflict of interest and is unable to be fair and unbiased.
