I worked at Mercy hospital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great coworkers, Management looks out for you, Culture of the department and company overall, Excellent health insurance and accrued time benefits

    Cons

Part of the larger Northern Light Health System (formerly EMHS) so some decisions are made at the home office outside of the area, Salary could be a little bit higher, Parent company does not honor merit increases for good performance even after receiving an excellent review

    Advice to Management

Possibly try to lobby the corporate head honchos at the Home Office for a decent merit increase each year, especially if the employee performed exceptionally well.
