Pros
Great co-workers, good patient care, and many opportunities to get involved with other outside initiatives. Gained many valuable experiences working here.
Cons
Very top-heavy in management. Many managers give the impression that they are 'all that'. Pay is not comparable to other health systems.

Pros
-Good sense of community -Most employees take pride in the patient care they provide -Every day presented new challenges so it was never boring

Doesn't RecommendDisapproves of CEOI worked at Mercyhealth for more than 10 years
Pros
There are a lot of great people. Staff is very committed to pursing excellence in patient care.
Cons
Many very good managers and directors have left because of a shift in corporate culture since the merger with Mercy. Those vacant positions are being filled by Mercy personnel, for the most part. Also lost a lot of very good doctors.

Pros
Assisting with providing true, genuine patient care for the community. Do what you love & know. Respect others and they will respect you back. Try to make a difference accept the challenge.. take the lle out of challenge and you have change. Mercy needs to embrace that with good people.. negativity is contagious. They need to clean house but the right professional way.
Cons
Unorganized healthcare procedural policy & procedures. Management is quick to dissect good employees to find some flaws of inadequacy. ALOT of Drama- turnover with management-employees.. RN's, LPN's are treated like MA's. It is common for this organization to not recognize credentials to pay you less.. that is for any & every position.
