I have been working at MeridianLink full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Not a bad place to work, good experience and good people

    Cons

Slow work day, not a lot of room for advancement outside of your department.

I worked at MeridianLink full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Executive management are upfront with you. The CEO seems like he really cares, but just doesn't seem to have enough lieutenants to carry out his vision. And leadership may not touch base with you all the time, but they also don't sugar coat things, then turn around and flush you. I must say I'm a little disappointed at some of the negative (and immature) reviews here. Regrettably, I had to leave due to a family...

I have been working at MeridianLink full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

There is no free lunch from this company. You really need to prove your worth. If you want to be on top of the summit, you have to climb the mountain which should be easy with patience and hard work. I don't expect best of everything from this company because I am not the best and I am not contributing the most profit. However, I am happy with the company for providing an opportunity at the right time for the...

No incentive plan yet. Would be mutual benefit to all, if employees have some ownership of the company.

I have been working at MeridianLink full-time

    Pros

401K, Healthcare/dental/vision, coffee machine, soda fountain, good first job out of college.

    Cons

The review title speaks for itself - despite management attempts to promote otherwise MeridianLink was acquired by an Equity investment firm and merged into CRIF with the merged entity renamed MeridianLink. An under-promoted fact is that the former parent, CRIF SpA, is major shareholder in the merged company. The only resemblance of the merged entity to the old MeridianLink is the name. New COO and CFO brought in by the...

    Advice to Management

MeridianLink looks like a rudder-less ship, management should present a 5 year plan to employees and customers providing insight as to where the company plans to go and what product roadmaps they are exploring. Equity participation is great but wont be enough to retain good employees who have no job growth/career path with the company. Might be worthwhile to find a way to develop and retain good employees than to expect...

    October 24, 2018Recruiting Manager

Response from our HR Director: MeridianLink first and foremost wishes to correct a misstatement noted in this review. As part of the acquisition and merger transaction in June, CRIF S.p.A. did become a shareholder, though not a majority shareholder. This is positive and common ...

    I worked at MeridianLink full-time

    Pros

Healthcare benefits, 401k, salad bar and soda fountain, central OC location.

    Cons

Merger has changed MerdianLink from a collegial, family oriented place to work to an anxiety filled place with people feeling they have to justify their existence. New management seems focused on showing ROI to new Equity Investment owner than caring about creating an enviroment where employees skills are valued and employees have growth and advancement opportunities. Management seems oblivious to the very poor morale...

    Advice to Management

Nothing. The Equity Investment firm and their surrogates and consulatants are calling the shots now despite their public statements to the contrary. Might make morale a bit better with more frequent and open communication by management to the employees - but not sure employees have any trust in what management may tell them now anyway.

I have been working at MeridianLink full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Leadership that is honest and genuinely cares about employees (true story: the CEO once put my bike in the back of his truck and drove me home because of bad weather.) Managers and team leads encourage employees to grow, learn, and try new things, even if there's no guarantee of success. Lots of opportunity to make a difference and add your mark to the company if you put yourself out there. If a project or experiment...

    Cons

When I first started with the company (over 5 years ago) there was very little communication between different teams and departments, which caused some duplicated efforts and misunderstandings/confusion at the time. Fortunately, they've gotten much better at communication since then, but from time to time things will still sometimes slip through the cracks. For employees who work remotely, or from a satellite office,...

    Advice to Management

To be totally honest, there's nothing I could say here that I haven't already said to management directly. They're really good about listening to employee feedback, and there are several suggestions I've given in the past that have ended up happening when the time was right. (Except for that one dang button!)

    Pros

Job demands and work-life balance are reasonable Training is great and questions are readily answered by other staff members (I have a highly technical job with almost no experience in the field prior to employment - this might differ by department though) Benefits package is great Starting pay is fair and hard (but smart) work is rewarded consistently and fairly Upper management seems to truly care, not only about the...

Great if you’re ever curious about what it’s like to work at a software sweatshop.

    Cons

    - Low Pay - Low Vacation Days - Low Morale - High Stress - No opportunities for growth - Free thought is banned - High turnover

    Advice to Management

When I first joined the company, the CEO was a confident visionary. He was always ready and eager to make bold moves to disrupt the market. He constantly challenge the teams around him to strive for more and never accepted mediocracy. With his leadership, we were all willing to endure the long hours of blood, sweat, and tears. Advice to Management

After working here, you will rewatch Office Space with renewed interest and hail it's authenticity. Pay everyone in the Support team more, especially the leads. Put in place drastic systems to help people do this job. Do not lowball new hires. You need to keep people and stop the high turnover within this department - to do that, you need to make the environment go from a Kmart vibe to at least a Target vibe. The Support...
