I have been working at MeridianLink full-time for more than 3 years

    Cons

-Salary below industry standard (especially with cost of living) despite management's claims. Look at Glassdoor to make up your own mind -Limited vacation (2 week PTO, 3 week after 5 years) -Good strategy and vision need to be set and actually followed -Values need to come from this strategy and vision, not the other way around -Office politics between departments often delays...

    Advice to Management

Be clear about your reasoning behind strategy and goals and then empower your employees to make meaningful decisions to achieve those goals. Also give them the tools they need. The "growing pains" of the company I experienced in my first year here are still here and the response has been to throw more bodies at the problem rather than fix the underlying cause. Trust the good people you hire to do the work. I will...

Glassdoor can provide good information, but it isn't a salary tool. People self-report and may inflate their salaries in hopes of driving up the published salaries for their positions. To my knowledge, there is no verification done on what's reported. (I have seen salaries posted ...

    I worked at MeridianLink full-time

    Pros

Many people in the organization are nice, caring people that are trying their best to do a good job.

    Cons

    - Not encouraged to grow talents specific to my role with education outside of the company. - Below industry standard pay - Calloused management structure, very top-down with decision making. - Uneven satisfaction between roles in the company. Some are very satisfied, many are less than satisfied. - Not much incentive to go above and beyond the responsibilities of your role.

    Advice to Management

    - Certain departments are satisfied while others are not. This is clear in some of the other reviews on this site. Instead of addressing the problem and implementing change, there is often the impression that the dissatisfied employee is wrong. - Personal growth and learning opportunities are sometimes viewed as signs that someone may leave the organization. For this reason, employees are sometimes discouraged from seeking...

I worked at MeridianLink full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Relaxed work environment Friendly coworkers Offer many bonding events and free lunches at the end of each month

    Cons

If you work support, you will be micromanaged to death Management doesn't listen to employees, is not supportive of your work and endeavors Cherry picking easy work to boost your numbers is rewarded Pay is below industry standard

    Advice to Management

Listen and actually support your employees when they want to acquire skills or training to advance their careers Please discuss the abysmal retention rate for the support department and not the whole company and how you have to implement 2 year minimum stay to stop people from leaving.

Thank you for highlighting your concerns. We do feel that all of our employees (including our managers) bring valuable skills and expertise to their jobs here. We listen to all ideas, but cannot realistically implement them all. We ask employees to grow on their team for two years ...

    I worked at MeridianLink full-time

    Pros

Really great company culture, fun people, and great benefits.

    Cons

I was a former employee on the Support team. During my time there was turnover micromanagement. It is easy to get burnt out with volume of work. Pay was below industry standard, and the support manager was over controlling. You expected to adhere to unrealistic work standards that favors cherrypicking easy items for stats.

    Advice to Management

Paying industry standard and set realistic expectations for daily volume of work. Provide a system of advancement opportunity outside of being familiar in system know how. The team is a dumping ground and does cleanup for other depts. It's no wonder why employees are getting fired left and right.
