    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Merz full-time for less than a year

    Pros

People are great, bonus potential was good in my division at least. For the most part, I was left alone to do my job.

    Cons

Poor communication, reactive, little chance for advancement in the field. Samples are a critical resource to have in the field! Training could definitely be amped up!

    Advice to Management

12 weeks severance is more realistic especially for folks who were performing well and were given very less than a year to get their territory up and running!

    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at Merz

    Pros

My direct manager was great. good product line except for ulthera.

    Cons

Senior leadership was out of touch with the day to day. By the time I left only 10 out of 100 reps were meeting plan. Basically, they made super high goals so they could pay less to the sales reps. They tried to pretend that goals were attainable. Slashed bonus payout, marketing, increased prices on customers 3 times within 6 months to make sure they hit their profit goals

    Advice to Management

Pay and support your reps. Or better yet just be honest about your pay scale and tell reps you will be making 30-50% less in bonus

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Merz full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Flexible schedule, good vacation time, good money

    Cons

Tenure not valued, Shoot, Ready, Aim mentality. Sales reps outmanned by competition in the field by at least 3/1

    Advice to Management

Stop the corporate speak and really listen to the reps.
