I have been working at Mesa Industries full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

We have annual family events and the shop and office are a family atmosphere. People really care about each other and about doing the best.

    Cons

It's a small company so if you're the kind of person that needs to be in a large company or move up fast that probably won't happen for a while.

I worked at Mesa Industries as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Atmosphere around shop continually promotes maximum effort to achieve best results. Everyone goes out of there way to provide one with everything needed to achieve best results. Monthly employee lunch/meeting held to allow front office and shop personnel to enjoy a base understanding of company and employee needs.

    Cons

It is easy to get so involved in a particular project, that one can allow things like the monthly staff meeting to happen without becoming involved. I think I might be describing my personal problem; that's why my stay there was short lived.

    Advice to Management

You are doing things well. The company is concerned and involved, in all aspects of employee work life, both at the site and at home.

I worked at Mesa Industries full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Monthly lunch, a few employees truly care about the company,

    Cons

High turnover of hourly employees, Complacent sale force that is not hungry for new business, a company that is trying to redefine its culture and struggling to retain top talent, almost 80% of management team has turned over in last 6 months, HR does advocate for the employees and there is no trust there.

    Advice to Management

Find the companies identity in a hurry- the company is sinking several employees have jumped ship.
