I have been working at Mesa full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The organization values its employees. It has excellent benefits. It works a 4 -10 schedule with every Friday off. Supervisors are well trained and supportive of their employees.

    Cons

The 10 hour days take a while to get used to, If you have a long commute it will make for a long work day. Most home activities have to be pushed to Friday.

    Advice to Management

Continue to support your employees and they will work hard for you. Thank you for having a good training plan for supervisors and employees so that they can reach their full potential.

I have been working at Mesa (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, very caring and helpful people and salary is reasonable. I have really enjoyed my time with the City!

    Cons

I wouldn't say that there are any cons of working here. When there is an issue, there are several avenues created in order to assist you and it's a "safe" environment.

I have been working at Mesa full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Pay is good. Benefits are very good. It still has somewhat of a small town mentality so you feel a part of a group.

    Cons

Not very good at money management. Not too many attractions so tax money is very lacking in hard times. Raises may not come for many years.

    Advice to Management

It would be nice if the little guy was given some weight when they spoke instead of always relying on top management to be right.
