    Pros

    You have the the potential to help students who are falling back by identifying what concepts or areas they are having trouble with.

    Cons

    Sometimes you work, sometimes you do not. There were times students did not have anything to discuss and made up questions to get grade.

    I have been working at Mesquite ISD full-time

    Pros

    Good salary in comparison to surrounding districts. My team on my campus works well together and provides a lot of support. Administration is supportive.

    Cons

    Typical cons when it comes to education and especially special education. School district cons are typical as well... bureaucracy and red tape.

    Working with the kids to see them succeed in life. “Small town feel” to the school system...loved it. Had to move

    Every place you at work someone there is going to be annoying. And that person was my paraprofessional

    Education systems is starting to be to focused on teaching a test than teaching valuable skills to students.
