Good long term career path, if you aren't very good at your job and have no aspirations
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Low-mid level performers won't have to worry about losing their jobs regardless of how the economy is doing (managers, not craft). ESOP is a good retirement account, IF you plan to work here for 40+ years, IF the government doesn't take it away, and IF the company isn't bought out.
Cons
If your ambitious in your career path...look elsewhere. The senior level managers are all 40-50's age and will do anything to make themselves seem better than everyone else. Oh an the EXPECTED work hours are 10 hours a day, 6 days a week...again that's EXPECTED . So kiss your home life goodbye.

Pros
Each region has a slightly different culture but the overall company culture is work smarter and harder. The site management team will. do everything in their power to help you succeed. They have frequent performance reviews where they evaluate you on quantifiable, actionable goals that you have established with your boss and team.
Cons
Early morning and late evenings. If you are working on the job site, there's no such thing as a 40 hour workweek.

Pros
Flexible, big company with a small family owned company feel to it, great retirement option
Cons
There are too many cliques, subpar par pay compared to the industry, and the culture

Pros
Growth strategy is that management invests in its employees and allows growth to follow. Really creates a culture of ownership. Never a shortage of work but lots of respect for work/life balance. A management company at its core so people are really nice. Great investment in the community (as any business person in any city wherein they operate will attest to). The name opens doors for networking.
Cons
It is a large corporation so there are politics to navigate but never a rat race.

Cons
Slow at responding to hiring process

Pros
Great Benefits and people. Lots of perks at upper level positions. There is a strong emphasis on safety and doing proper business practices. Several opportunities in the company.
Cons
There are limited opportunities if you stay in the Cincinnati region. Co-ops have few responsibilities on some projects. The IT department is always changing programs and software. Long hours are also expected.

D&DSTAFFINGLLC may provide you with the option to hire directly. Let us worry about reviewing resumes, the initial interview process, background checks and drug tests, or anything else you need. Then you interview the right candidate for your company and all that's left to do is hire the person you select, for a fee. We are a full service staffing company. At D&D Staffing we believe that a stress-free and successful staffing partnership means providing you, the client, with the best talent available. Our goal is to be much more than your staffing provider, but also a trusted advisor and partner in the search for talent. We offer a staffing solution for clients of all sizes, large or small
Cons
In a well-organized collective, no one hurts. Each person is responsible for a certain part of the job. This makes it possible for each member of the group to focus on their task and rely on the expertise of others to guide their work. Now, when someone does not have sufficient preparation, it can create mistrust within the team, and question its professionalism in the face of the company's

Pros
Great work environment, things are well organized and the company does not seem to be 'cheap' with employees. Quite a bit to learn which is always beneficial to long term experience.
Cons
Not always enough work to do which means you often have to go seek out work, but this is not too big of a deal.

Growing at a rapid pace and cannot keep up with the fine details. Poor company culture. Poor communication.
