    Pros

Great organization who cares for its employees. The people are amazing and I am thankful for all the good things that I can be involved with.

    Cons

It is growing with new construction so there is a lot of noise and building going on at the moment, but I can't wait until it is done!

    Advice to Management

    Keep talking to employees!

    Pros

Residents and co-workers were the best!

    Cons

For being a "Christian" facility, feel management did not show. On a day to day basis, didn't
    know where you stood.

    Advice to Management

Don't go by some of your staff honesty - do a through investigation!

    Pros

Friendly colleagues and wonderful residents. Meaningful work, peaceful environment, great benefits. Feel like you make a difference. Good benefits and helpful HR team.

    Cons

Not too many. Every job has downsides but ML has been around for 120 years! They do great work. Even during construction they have a volunteer shuttle to take employees around campus. Over and above!

I worked at Messiah Lifeways (More than a year)

    Pros

Good job and Benefits and is close to home.

    Cons

Hated the hours. Too many kids working there. Main kitchen staff were difficult to work with.
Alot of lazy C.N.A aides. R.N. and C.N.A.'s would belittle the dining staff.

    Advice to Management

Be more vigilant and aware of the childish behaviors of all Depts. not only of Dining staff.

    Pros

At Messiah Lifeways, you are offered great benefits, very competitive pay and a great work environment. CNA's have the option of working many different shifts, including full time, part time, PRN and weekend option.

    Cons

There are sometimes issues with staffing, but even then, there is a very low resident to staff ratio. At times, opinions feel unheard and unresolved, but serious issues are always resolved.

    Pros

Amazing coworkers and residents. Close bonds formed with both staff and residents. 8 hour shifts are nice instead of 12.

    Cons

Administration does not listen to employees and makes employees feel so small. Do not feel like they exhibit Christian values. They talk to you like you are dumb and are not open to suggestions nor do they do anything to help you when it's needed.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees! Make them feel valued instead of a doormat.
