I worked at MetLife full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Big company, wide variety of experiences available to employees. Active attempts are made to engage employees. Comprehensive benefit package and paid time off.

    Cons

Lack of support during certain transitions, such as onboarding new staff or outgoing lay-offs. Lack of ownership on certain communications or "ugly" tasks.

    Advice to Management

Please invest in true relationships with your employees. This is especially true for anyone managing or supervising anyone in a different site telecommuting situation.

Oh, and burn out is rampant. Watch out for any signs of that.
