    I worked at Metro full-time

    Pros

    Great group of people to work with. Very flat organizational structure. Overall I enjoyed my time and experience here. Although grocery retail market may be challenging, Metro seems to do a good job keeping up with the competition.

    Cons

    Career advancement may be limited, but only because they run a lean operation

    Pros

    Overall I enjoyed my time and experience here. Work life balance and culture was pretty good. The people were great to work with. Although the grocery retail market maybe challenging, Metro has done a good job to keep up with the competition.

    Cons

    Advancement can be limited, but it's mostly due to the fact that they run a lean operation.

    I have been working at Metro full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Bonne place pour apprendre

    Cons

    - Doit passer par une firme de consultation avant d'être employé à temps plein. À ce moment, on repart à zéro dans l'ancienneté, les vacances, etc. - Bureaux très laids (surtout quand on compare celui de la MEM Super C à Place Carillon), avec de la moisissure au plafond, et des filtres à eau vieux et sales! ; - Les avancements semblent difficiles; - BEAUCOUP TROP D'ENJEU POLITIQUE !!! Tous semblent difficiles... chez Metro; - Pas assez de transparence! - Des personnels de direction pas assez axé sur le côté humain; - Café payant; - Salaire non compétitifs comparé au marché, et aucune échelle salariales de disponibles; - On nous demande de suivre une certaines orientation, que même la direction ne suit pas. - Télé-travail pas possible;

    Advice to Management

    - Ça serait une belle marque de confiance de faire de vos jeunes des employés permanents dès le départ. La paperasse et les budget semblent plus importants. - Travailler plus comme si nous sommes tous pour la même entreprise. Trop d'enjeux politiques vraiment frustrants, qui changent toutes les planifications. - Arrêté de prendre vos employés pour des numéros. - Il serait temps de changer votre mentalité et... d'arriver en 2017. Interdire le télé-travail de peur que vos employé ne travaillent pas pour de vrai, c'est dépassé. Que ce soit à la maison ou au bureau, si un employé décide de se pogner le beigne, il va le faire peut importe où.
