    Cons

No opportunity for bonuses for operations employees. Some opportunity to improve job position. Some management does not practice active listening.

I have been working at Meyer Corporation U.S. full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great company to work for. All levels of management has an open door policy.
They do listen and do something with employees suggestions or issues. There was a lot of flexibility within the company and really was a family type of environment while still remaining professional.

    Cons

Sometimes there is a breakdown in communication between sales, operations and accounting but overall everybody are so easy to work with and tries to achieve the highest level of efficiency.

    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Meyer Corporation U.S. (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Benefits are above average
There are some good people who encourage and motivate, unfortunately their voices are quiet compared to the senior management that have their own personal agendas.

    Cons

Demoralizing work environment, little recognition for outside the box thinking, does not recognize talent only those who feed into the personal agendas of upper management.

    Advice to Management

Hire a senior executive team that shows mindfulness in the workplace and reward the few executives who take the time to value employees. Be more philanthropic as a company: Align brands with philanthropic causes. Bring in department heads who are experts in their field and can foster positive team environments.

I have been working at Meyer Corporation U.S. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible environment, casual, everyone is very friendly

    Cons

no succession planning, some supervisors who micromanage experienced people make it difficult to want to stay

    Advice to Management

figure out how to recognize people with skills above their current job and challenge them in order to keep them. If you have no plans for people to move up in the company why would they stay if they want growth opportunities

I worked at Meyer Corporation U.S. full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Really solid group of people looking for stability and consistent work/life balance. Well-respected brands and portfolios of products that consumers love and appreciate.

    Cons

Some really strong personalities at the top of various departments which have really strong personalities and power. Not a think-big type of environment. No recreating the wheel if the figureheads don't want it. Location in Vallejo is tough.
