I have been working at Mezocliq full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Very strong vision of the founder CEO who understands the problems with Enterprise Data. An excellent Big Data Ecosystem platform built over the last 6 years. Strong work ethic of the CEO himself that sets the tone. All the foundations of future success are there.

    Cons

Evolving culture from service orientation to product orientation. Current customers do tend to influence product roadmap which is a challenge for all companies.

I have been working at Mezocliq full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Building a commercially-viable enterprise software offering is no child's play and the continuous prioritization and trade-offs between must-have features and nice-to-have features by optimizing available resources is a great learning experience.

    Cons

The small teams get stretched too thin sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Need to speed up the rate of hiring.

I have been working at Mezocliq full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great colleagues that are hard-working, team-oriented and dedicated to the success of the company. The benefits of working with incredibly talented people far outweigh the challenges of start-up growing pains. Every place has its challenges and working together as a team helps achieve success, that’s where this company is headed.

    Cons

Managing expectations can be a challenge with too many priorities and not enough resources.

    Advice to Management

Communication from senior management is improving and needs to continue on that trajectory.

I have been working at Mezocliq full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

A talented team of colleagues. Focus is always on delivering the best possible solution for clients.

    Cons

The environment can be challenging and stressful at times, typical for a start-up. Achieving the company’s goals requires firing on all cylinders most of the time.

    Advice to Management

Continue to acknowledge strong work of employees and set a good example.

I have been working at Mezocliq full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I enjoy the open culture and fast paced environment. I appreciate that every employee is given the chance to thrive here. It is great to work with so many talented professionals every day.

    Cons

It can be tough to adjust to the all hands on deck mentality. Just because you have worked at another start-up does not guarantee you will be successful here. The culture here is one of striving for perfection, which is not suited to everyone.

    Advice to Management

I appreciate the daily catered lunches and drinks and snacks in the pantry - it’s a good way of showing your employees that you value their contributions.

I have been working at Mezocliq full-time

    Pros

Great colleagues and an extremely collaborative environment. Management is transparent about company goals and what is being done to achieve them. Everyone is given the opportunity to prove their abilities.

    Cons

Being a startup is exciting, but also means the hours can be long and not all key roles in the company are filled.

"When will the jig be up?"

    StarStarStarStarStar
Former Employee - Engineer in New York, NY
    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Mezocliq full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The free lunches are nice albeit a bit too vegetarian. Very good at managing Glass Door. Watch 3-4 new 5 star reviews appear after this one to move it off the main page.

    Cons

The CEO and his direct reports have created the fiction that they have a minimally viable product. They do not. Every new milestone is built on the fictitious success of the previous milestone. At some point the smoke will clear and the mirrors will break, and the wizard will be exposed behind the curtain.

I have been working at Mezocliq full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Enterprise Software is broken and Mezocliq has the fix. Through cutting-edge technology and innovative thinking, Mezocliq is turning the impossible possible. - Great technology - Great people - Visionary direction

    Cons

There's no getting around it. The hours are long. The pace demanding. The learning curve steep. If you don't want a challenging workplace, this is not the place for you.

    Pros

    • It’s great to be part of a company that is thinking beyond the norm and creating more advanced way of approaching data. • It’s an opportunity to work with the smartest people from all over the world. Fascinating to learn about other cultures. • This company is different - not a 9 to 5 job – If you are willing to roll up your sleeves and push yourself beyond your own limitation, this is a great company... for you. Hard work is noticed.
