    Pros

Relaxing environment, flexible hours. Nice people to work with overall.

    Cons

Lack of interest in supporting employees growth, No interesting in promoting or hiring internally.

    Advice to Management

An institution's culture is better changed from within. Stop believing someone will come with the magic wand or perfect idea to solve your problems.
Be the change you want to see in others!

    Pros

Flexible schedule if you're a student, and decent amount of hours depending on how much work you're willing to do

    Cons

Administration is a mess; most of the time the questions you need answered are avoided because of lack of knowledge

    Advice to Management

Make sure to educate workers on all types of situations students can go through; they pay your salary!

I worked at Miami Dade College as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

Being able to use the facilities was pretty nice. They try to keep their work stations updated. They don't have all the programs you'll need, but they work hard to give you what they can.

    Cons

Its not a very good place to grow artistically. The professors there left a lot to be desired, which was the main reason for my employment. I honestly felt like I was helping the students more then the professor was.

    Advice to Management

Get people who actually know what they're teaching. If a person has failed as an artist and then resorted to teaching, then the students they teach will fall within the same pattern. Not good at all.

the pay to work for them still at minimum.

    Advice to Management

don't be judgemental of the people they work with, whether they are 16yrs of age or 40 yrs of age. treat everyone equally.
