I have been working at Miami-Luken

      Pros

Dealing with patients and trying to help these people in the community was the only Pro to me honestly.

      Cons

Unresponsive management. No clear company structure to know who exactly to talk to about any matter. No benefits. Understaffed. Bad reputation ( the company used to supply a drug ring and was all over the news) . You are completely risking your career as a pharmacist by working in this company. Definitely NOT AN EEO. THE COMPANY WILL POST ADS UNDER THE NAME OF ( REM Community pharmacies ). It’s the same company don’t...

Review your Vice Presidents’ work. Be fair to your employees ethically and professionally. Have a clear structure of the company for all employees to know who to reach out to.

I worked at Miami-Luken full-time for more than 3 years

        Pros

The REM corporation is owned by a small drug whole seller called Miami- Luken. It gives you a feel of an independent pharmacy. They treat you fairly when you contribute them more than your fair share. No work on Sundays.

        Cons

It is a small chain pharmacy trying to disguise as independent Pharmacies in small towns. My personal experience is that it is not a EOE. I know for sure that this company has targeted at least a couple of whistle blowers about its UN ethical practices. I would not certainly recommend this company for any minority applicants. The discriminatory practices are prevalent here and I am truly appalled at the extent at this...
