I worked at Michigan Health and Rehabilitation Services, LLC full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    a job if your desperate.

    Cons

sinking company, poor morale, pay is unstable and has been reduced 4 times in 2 years with most recent one being 7-9$ an hour. Now inexperienced, low paying, new grad suckers willing to take the bait

    Advice to Management

Your job cut will soon be coming. Since you screwed everyone, don't look for the public for support.

    Pros

Fellow employees where great to work with. We looked out for each other because management didn't.

    Cons

Company almost folded late last year. Encore looking to take over. Two pay cuts and over 60 employees let go within the last 14 months. Others have left voluntarily since then to escape the sinking ship. High insurance premiums. Unrealistic productivity. Management is a joke.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. Nothing.

    Pros

Great team. If anyone needs help, another therapist is always willing to lend a hand.
Flexible schedule (can show up whenever as long as you get all your scheduled hours in).
DOT and ADOT will stand behind their therapists whenever conflict arises.

    Cons

    Terrible benefits
    Unrealistic productivity expectations
Difficult to work with nursing staff
    Recent pay cuts
Tends to rotate employees off (due to being overstaffed during times of low census). Because of the rotations, there are times when a therapist who is scheduled to work 5 days a week, may only work 3-4 days a week.

    Advice to Management

Look at more than the numbers. Employees won't remain loyal to the company if you don't treat them well.
