    Pros

Generally most employees are friendly and fun to work with. The job is always different every day and keeps you on your toes. Very flexible with hours and schedule.

    Cons

For getting millions of dollars every year, the pay rate for student employees is incredibly low. There is no way you can even pay rent on what they pay you.

    Simple job, flexible hours

    Pros

The biggest Pro is the fact that when there are few patrons you can squeeze in some study time. It's not hard work. Hours are flexible and given enough notice you can be sure that someone will take your shift if you have something pressing to attend to.

    Cons

It gets boring. It's essentially a customer service job if you're working at the front desk like I did.

    Pros

The people are warm and welcoming. Very personable. The work is simple and not demanding. Hours are extremely flexible to other activities/

    Cons

As a student there is not a lot of room to earn more money. A lot of the difficult work is performed by full time employees. After a certain amount of time, there is also not a lot of professional growth.

    Like most of the university

    Pros

Flexible in terms of work hours + good health insurance

    Cons

Low salary; you are doing the same job as a private company with the same quality if not better but very low salaries; even if the supervisor has the resources and funds to increase your salary the university HR doesn’t allow it
