RecommendsApproves of CEOI have been working at MicroEdge full-time for less than a year
Pros
Employees are super switched-on and that energy is felt throughout the entire organization. Values-driven business ensures that employees feel empowered by the work that they do. Heavy focus on employee engagement/experience sets MicroEdge apart from the rest - beer Fridays, casual dress, ping pong makes the office a fun place to be. I love working here and would recommend MicroEdge to anyone interested in the SaaS world and leveraging technology to make a difference.
Cons
None. Keep up the good work.
We're glad you're here! Thanks for the great feedback

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at MicroEdge full-time for more than a year
Pros
My coworkers (at the time - I don't think anyone is left) were amazing team players, supportive, and just plain nice. I met a delightful group of people working in this office. Pay and benefits are fine.
Cons
I never felt appreciated by upper management. Rather than understanding a difficult time in my life I was going through, they repeatedly "wrote me up" for petty issues like arrive to work 10 mins late. Despite the work I did for them - Including slaving over the execution of their yearly conference - I was let go days after returning from the out-of-state project. I received no recognition for the hard work I put into making a 300+ conference happen. Rather, I was pushed out due to petty legalities. I believe this all came about due to the change in management after the company as acquired by Blackbaud. The marketing team lost their team lead and backbone. Shortly after that the entire team went crashing. We were either fired or pushed to quit.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at MicroEdge full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
MicroEdge is aware of the fact that their Employee's mental health and happiness at work is important - extra curriculars are common, as are team lunches and speakers, etc. Vacation time is generous.
Cons
Owned by a large Corporation, communication from management always feels insincere and disingenuous. Most employees stopped going to company wide meetings because they were always a waste of time. The Executives would feel they needed to communicate with their employees, but would refuse to do so in an honest and open way.... then what's the point you may ask yourself?

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at MicroEdge full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Great people to work with and even better clients to sell into. Remote office was supported.
Cons
Low base salary. Management decisions were made based on equity partner standard operating procedures. Very rigid. Not much flexibility on how to do things

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at MicroEdge full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
MicroEdge was a good company to work for before the Blackbaud acquisition. Afterwards, it has become a phenomenal company! There is a ton of investment in the employees with engagement programs, volunteerism, career opportunities and ongoing training programs. Every person at the company strongly believes in our mission and values and works as a team to develop and enhance the Ecosystem of Good.
Cons
The transition into Blackbaud went relatively smoothly though at times it still feels like we are a separate company.

RecommendsNeutral OutlookNo opinion of CEOI have been working at MicroEdge full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Fun work environment. Employees are diverse in age, mostly millennials though. Beer Friday, snacks and foods often, autonomous work environment, option to work from home.
Cons
Lack of diversity in everything else. They is definitely a hierarchy/group methodology even with co-workers that are non-managerial that can be distracting.
