    Not sales friendly

    Pros

The technology is solid and feel the Cloud offering can be great. You can make a lot of money, but the stars do have to align for that to happen.

    Cons

No confidence in management. The internal processes are atrocious and causes deals to slip. Management does not look internally but just blames sales and their lack of closing ability. Meanwhile it takes 3-4 weeks to get an approval and quote to customer and because of the arduous processes, only so many deals can be booked a quarter. Losing millions in revenue yet do nothing to improve the process. getting 4 people to approve a 20k quote is such a waste of resources and time. no one is willing to challenge executive management for fear of getting fired. mid level management shields reps from executives versus shielding executives from sales reps. There is a culture of a lack of response to emails and in fact one will have to reach out 3-4 times before finally getting an answer. Sales support like PS and Sales Engineers have no sense of urgency to close business. I find their work ethic severely lacking. They have adjusted comp plans designed for sales to not get paid on deals they've closed if certain thresholds have not been met. I've personally been a victim of this and its why I left. There are better places to work.

Company was doing fine until they got involved in bitcoin

    Oct 26, 2022 - Software Engineer
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

-The people are great, coworkers are smart and motivated -Flexible work options like remote work were nice when introduced -That's it really

    Cons

-Underpaid, they pay less than the market rate and have become very stingy when it comes to giving raises, pretty much only giving raises with promotions -Not enough resources, there has been a ton of attrition over the past few years and the people that leave are rarely replaced. Then they went ahead and laid off even more people to add to the attrition -No real career growth opportunities, most people start here and leave as soon as they realize how much you stagnate -Lack of leadership, senior management changes directions every other quarter and doesn't do a good job being transparent with everyone about why we were making these changes -Worst of all, the bitcoin investment. The former CEO decided to use company resources to gamble on bitcoin. Much like the redditors he seemed to be mimicking, the company is now severely at loss with this gamble. The information is public, the market knows how bad it is and can see the company's debts cant be repaid with sales being down. Before it was a profitable company with slow but continuous growth and a solid customer base with a good product. Now its a dead man walking until the debt the company took out to buy bitcoin comes due.
