    The company cares and makes efforts to keep people even in times of difficulty around company performance. Layoffs are not common.

    Cons

    Technology is lagging competition making it difficult to compete. Need to find a way to leap ahead and get more competitive

    Advice to Management

    Cut dead weight projects lose earlier. Pay higher for more lead engineering.

    Pros

    Good for people who like big corporate culture and politics. If you need a job in Boise, Idaho this may be a good match.

    Cons

    Be ready to loose your job with minimum severance. Below average salaries and benefits. Very few opportunities for growth. Cyclical business offered less stability.

    Advice to Management

    Make it difficult for mass layoffs by increasing severance pay. Stop treating engineering talent as disposable resource.
    Accountability in hiring, layoffs, acquisitions and spinoffs

    Some truly great people and managers who care and try their best. Potential for upside.

    Cons

    As the company grows, so does politics. Ability to capitalise on upside is sometimes a challenge.

    Treat employees as greatest asset instead of liability (as expressed in balance sheets). More leadership development for all managers.
