      Pros

      - Very competitive salary/bonuses/relocation package - Relatively easy work

      Cons

The department I'm in is extremely dysfunctional. The service manager I interviewed with resigned on my first day, and his replacement quit about two months after he was hired due to burnout. The company seems to punish anybody who will step into a leadership role with an incredibly unhealthy work-life balance, which disincentivises anybody else from taking on more responsilbility. The company culture is INCREDIBLY corporate/soulless. Even for a Fortune 500 company it's bad. In September, the executive staff decided they wanted to start bringing everybody back into the offices in America, even though there was a global pandemic underway and we were bound to end up having to re-close after putting hundreds of people at risk for COVID. For obvious reasons, the endeavor never went through. That being said, I was basically presented with the choice of either sucking it up and returning to the office with hundreds of other people in it, or being forced to quit/be fired, which meant I would have had to repay my relocation package, and forfeit any unemployment assistance in a very uncertain job market.

      Pros

The Pay and living in Idaho

      Cons

      1) Complete cultural change since Sanjay took over the company. Making employees compete against each other for their jobs with the current review system. Each year the review systems forces employees within each group into a bell curve. The employees at the bottom of the bell curve are eliminated. 2) Laying off people while they are hiring at the same time. 3) Corporate leaders spewing lies about "work life balance" but people always working late and on the weekend to meet their goals. 4) HR group is worthless; I would never go to HR with a problem. Right now employees have no protection from a bad boss at Micron. HR is a bunch of yes men and simply go along with what the managers says.

No complaints but the work was not challenging.

      Pros

Company cares for you, lots of benefits. Good Senior Management.

      Cons

Work not challenging, like all other big corporations. You work on few projects and things always change. Also work-life balance sucks because the team is global.

      Pros

Micron Technology provides an excellent real work experience to their interns. The work assigned to interns is not busy work, but real projects. These projects not only provide experience in innovation and problem solving but also provides value to the company. As an intern at Micron, you will feel that you are a valued member of the team and that the work you do is important. Micron has created a very healthy and positive work environment for all its team members, and works hard for a good work-life balance. Micron provides superb housing and benefits even for interns. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, Micron Technology stayed committed to their interns and provided the ability to work from home at no cost to their interns. Overall, Micron provided a great intern experience.

      Cons

I personally experienced no downsides to working at Micron Technology.

This is the best employer I have ever worked for

      Pros

Micron is uniquely positioned to provide the world with what is in high demand now and will be in the foreseeable future - memory and storage solutions. Highly innovative and collaborative culture. I was impressed by how the company leadership handled the COVID-19 pandemic and approached it with safety of the company’s employees as their top priority. It is clear that the leadership is focused on very aggressive competition with the 2 bigger memory companies from Korea. Compensation is very competitive. The benefits package is much better than what I have seen at my previous employers.

      Cons

Work-life balance can be a challenge for some but you know what you get yourself into when you join Micron. The company is pretty transparent about its expectations of its new employees.
