I have been working at Microsoft full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Travel for work, incredible compensation, limitless growth potential, constant learning, cooperation among/within teams, some prestige in company and job title.

    Cons

A little difficult to utilize time effectively as there is nearly no management involvement in day-to-day.

I have been working at Microsoft full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Culture: People are very helpful and responsive and Microsoft has a strong learning culture - Flexible: Work from an office, from home, from a coffee shop, wherever. As long as the work gets done, it doesn't matter - Technology: Work with the newest technology and learn something new every day

    Cons

    - Though it is not technically required, working at night is often necessary to meet customer needs and keep up with your own learning - Lots of internal processes which are often difficult to navigate

I worked at Microsoft full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - great benefits - RRSP matching - up to 10 sick days per year - decent pay for retail work - quarterly bonuses based on store performance

    Cons

    - bullying store culture - managers who take sides and don't actually resolve conflicts - cliquey social groups and diversity as a buzzword - a low ceiling for promotion and actual career opportunities - rewards and recognition only go to the people the management like the most, barring any other criteria - nowhere to go if you have a legitimate complaint about how you've been treated

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Microsoft for more than 5 years

    Pros

Some freedom to set your own schedule. Seeing different environments and industry sectors is great experience

    Cons

The company has been shifting from a services and software company to a devices and services company and they are leaving behind the on-premise customers not ready or willing to move to cloud solutions. All training has been shifted to cloud support while low focus given to on-prem solutions for customers.

I have been working at Microsoft full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I love the culture. Everyone is pleasant yet hard working. The benefits and coverage is amazing. One of if not the best place I have ever worked at. If you have a an interview, I would suggest trying your best. They are picky and don't let just anyone into their oasis of fairness and welcoming mentality.

    Cons

Must be very compliant and follow procedure to the letter. Most companies don't operate at this level of rule following.

I have been working at Microsoft full-time

    Pros

Free drinks, snacks and software. Some good staff as long as your are not ex Staples, Future Shop, Best Buy, they seem to have a bad attitude...just saying.......

    Cons

Everyone is Micro Managed, with some managers who think they would be a level 3 or 4, are just a 1, maybe. Should hire management that have some tech knowledge, and not from just any retail store... They do not like to see long term staff move up within the company, prefer to hire from other MS stores, or Staples, Best Buy or some other retailer ie: hardware stores, pet stores, clothing, all which have no relation to technology as far as I know

I worked at Microsoft for more than 5 years

    Pros

As company has highly skilled people employed and around you which creates chanlleging and competitive environment

    Cons

Management and HR is not care about you and your performance, highly corrupted environment...its not your technical skills or performance to survive in this company but its matters how good you are at buttering your boss...They is mental and physical harrasment for females, and if you escalate you lose your job..no legal action or even acknowledgement of issue from management . If you opt for internal transfer, you are treated as alien and external candidates are more preferred than retaining old employees who served for more than 6 years The saying holds true for MS - all that glitters is not Gold
