    Pros

    Advice to Management

Satya is an amazing leader and all leaders within the organization need to align with where he is taking the company. Very rewarding job.

I have been working at Microsoft part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great teammates, management is dedicated to improving culture and results, and fair compensation.

    Cons

Retail, and everything that goes with it. From toxic customers, to terrible hours, to working holidays and weekends. Expect to have no social life without significant effort, as you'll consistently be required to work weekends and nights.
You're expected to love Microsoft products... Even if there's something better out there.

    Advice to Management

Let your best people work consistent hours as part of compensation. Maybe be one of those daring employers who is closed black Friday or Thanksgiving? It would mean a lot to employees. Provide more upward momentum for those who have college degrees or are working to obtain one. MS Stores are all over the US, but what about corporate Microsoft? Are they present? Let the retail employees have something to look forward to if they are loyal and work hard.
