I have been working at Microsoft full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of opportunities to move around within the company, and lots of different roles to select from given then size of the company.

    Cons

Just got made redundant. No employee loyalty. Definitely feel like a cog in the machine.

    Advice to Management

Concentrate more on your employees than on your externally projected appearance

I have been working at Microsoft as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great Facilities, loads of work and it's a good environment to work in.

    Cons

    No Benefits for CSG
    Can't get any extra Training
    No Career Path or Progression

    Advice to Management

Allow some extra training benefits to CSG, as they will work for you for years, and yet will not grow enough to make your business better. Why make only 20% of your work force better, when you can make 100% better?

I worked at Microsoft full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Driven, hard working individuals who care about the company, the product but also the society that they live in - Microsoft doesn't make products to just make $$$'s - but to try and improve the world.

    Cons

Can be very (Redmond) US centric
